Nightlands: Losá & Tirin Tales Redux

So I have tales about the foreign lords who ignore Losá's marriage and insult her by trying to court her, but I feel like the same should have happened to Tirin as well. I only have one story idea so far though.


It happens very early in the history of Hópa Elenna, where some time maybe between ten to 15 years after the Veríotornassë settle in the sea cave. Their people are established, Tirin and Losá have Leofric Isilnónar who is a young child, age 10 (equivalent of a 4-yr-old human).

I think the woman who tries to seduce Tirin is from another tribe of the Veríotornassë, because Tirin's own tribe are not the only ones of the northern mountain folk. This other tribe took longer to cross the Westerlands and find their way to their kindred, but somewhere along the way they heard about Tirin's people going ahead of them, and set out to join Hópa Elenna for the sake of shared cultural commonalities.

But what happens is a woman of fairly high status of this tribe is not fond of the idea of this non-human outsider being such a big influence and changing what the Veríotornassë are, and she quite frankly has the hots for Tirin and thinks getting into his bed (and Losá out of it) will put her in the highest place of power in the Harbour.

The thing however with Tirin is that he totally and wholly belongs to Losá. When they bonded, Losá poured her power through Tirin and turned him into an autonomous extension of herself, on an eldritch level. Quite simply, Tirin's soul belongs to his wife, and even on a physiographical level, he is unreactive to attempts to induce arousal by anyone other than his wife.

Of course this would-be interloper also tries to turn the tribe against Losá, but that has less than effective results as well - 10-15 years of Losá being a mentor, advisor and spiritual guide has firmly made her indispensable to the Hópa. It is a foregone conclusion Lady Interloper eventually gets turned into a pariah, it is just a question of how much conflict happens between the two tribes before her own people realise she is the problem that is a threat to their permanent residence in the harbour.
