So my old device list is one of the posts ported over from LJ, so I need to start a new one, because I don't do anything on LJ anymore. But I don't feel like using a formal layout this time.
New Things
I bought a new MP3 player, it is named QUENTÁ. It's micro SD card is named LINDALË. It basically means "Words" and "Song".
There were two cheap mobile phones here for a while, and while I think Mum's would get the name "Ringtone" by default, I only identified mine as "Mimi Sardinia" for a short time after I bought an unlocked phone I could use in Germany. The unlocked phone ended up being a new Nokia and I liked it better than the Telstra cheapie, so when I got around to going to the Telstra store after I got back, I transfered my account to it and left the cheapie to the store person to put in their device recycling bin.
The Nokia has been dubbed Elenhróta, after a failed attempt to sync via bluetooth, but still, I like thinking of it as such.
After I got home with a pile of money leftover, I wanted to do some expensive upgrades. Mum's request was a big button phone for older people being sold by Innovations. As has become my custom, it is dubbed, in my head, as the latest "Ringtone". I think this is Ringtone 5.0. The cheapie it took the place of was probably Ringtone 4.5.
As for the big things, Kíli, my tablet, was retired and replaced by Kizár, a Samsung Galaxy S4.
I also bought a keyboard book cover, but I really don't think of it as seperate from the tablet itself, maybe more like Kizár's transformation ring. The tablet was over $950 in price and the keyboard cover was a shade under $200. I did go for a higher capacity tablet - 64GB.
The second big thing (and by big, it's big in physical size, though it's cost was a shade under $700) was a Wacom Intuos Pro drawing tablet, A4 size. I think when Bluetooth syncing it, I labelled it as "Elenlossë", because I think of Elenlossë as being an artist - she was probably responsible for more than a few murals in Himring after they cleaned and renovated it.
But details - the tablet acts as a clipboard that one attaches a sheet of paper to and draws on the paper, for said drawing to be transferred into digital. I like that, because my drawing works best when I actually draw on paper.
There is also the flash drive Valandhir gave me which is already named INTENSO.
