Riftverse: Anton

houseofstrangeI have once again had my mind changed on Riftverse details thanks to The Sims.
If the name list is any indicator, I used to think of the current incarnation of Cahdrisian as being Jared Bennett. The problem is, I am currently playing Moonlight Falls with a "Jerry" sim by the name of Anton Barton... and his live-in girlfriend is Tael Melonde.
I think part of this is that I had a dream or one of my half-asleep thoughts that I applied to Anton and Tael and now I like the "current version" to be Anton as I have him in The Sims 3.
Maybe I will shunt Jared Bennett to the role of that "Jerry" that Tael met when she was still mourning Jerry and things went badly because neither of them were in a good headspace to make anything work.
I have a faint memory that what went down with Jason (who is also a Barton) was not ideal, but it was not bad enough to prevent Jason calling Tael when he wanted backup to rescue Evander. I think that is a case that Tael had at least partly recovered, but she and Jason didn't line up either, but it was not as bad as Jared, so Tael didn't mind the callback and helping Jason, especially since it was Eric he was trying to rescue. (Evander=Eric.)
But thanks to my current game I have a Jerry that I can see Tael working with, and that Jerry is Anton Geralt Barton, native to Tarlia and Nina's Earth timeline.
(I just looked up a names website for his middle name and I know Geralt is not a J, but it struck me so that's it.)
Some time I will get screencaps from the game for Anton.
Just as an aside on looks, because my sim of Tael is a Young Adult, she seems older than how I used to imagine Tael, who, because of her alien heritage and an unusual factors involved (I can't remember her species name!), has not grown beyond the physical age of 16 (it involves how her people are born with fur, shed it at puberty, except for ultra-rare cases, and the more fur retain is exactly in proportion to what stage they stop aging, and Tael who lost only about half her fur). So the offhand idea I came up with is that Tael has figured out how to shapeshift into a human (or Keeper?) form and bypass the weird aging problems that is species-linked. This also incidentally also gets rid of her antennae, which logically would have sensory purposes, but hey, she uses magic to replace those sensory details.
